IbisQuest
End-to-end design and development of an OKR management platform
IbisQuest is a personal product that demonstrates how I turn a product need into usable, maintainable software ready to evolve.

Project overview
From idea to a functional foundation
IbisQuest enables organizations to configure their structure, organize teams and contributors, align team objectives with organizational objectives, and record and visualize progress in the OKR workspace.
Context and problem
Defining objectives is not enough
Organizations need to keep teams aligned, connect strategy with daily work, and understand what is moving forward, what needs attention, and where blockers exist.
Scattered information
Objectives, key results, and initiatives can end up spread across documents, spreadsheets, and conversations.
Late decisions
Without a centralized view, follow-up becomes harder and the ability to act in time is reduced.
The challenge was to design a clear experience for different roles, capable of managing measurable objectives and organizing the structure of the organization and its teams.
The solution
A clear foundation for managing, aligning, and visualizing OKRs
The current version of IbisQuest enables organizations to configure their structure, define cycles, objectives, key results, and initiatives, align objectives across teams and the organization, and record and visualize progress in the OKR workspace.
Configure
Set up the organization, its teams, contributors, roles, and permissions.
Define
Create cycles, objectives, key results, and initiatives to establish the work that needs to be managed.
Align
Relate team objectives to organizational objectives to connect different levels of direction.
Record and visualize
Record progress in initiatives, key results, and objectives, and review their status in the OKR workspace.

Implemented capabilities
Organization, definition, and OKR follow-up
The current version brings together organization and team administration, OKR and initiative definition, and objective alignment and progress tracking.
Organization and team administration
Guided onboarding, organization structure, members, invitations, roles, permissions, and workspace configuration.
OKR and initiative definition
Creating cycles, objectives, key results, and initiatives to establish the work that needs to be managed.
Alignment and follow-up
Relationships between organizational and team objectives, progress recording, and status visualization in the OKR workspace.
Current status
A functional foundation that keeps evolving
IbisQuest currently provides a functional foundation for configuring an organization, managing teams and contributors, aligning team objectives with organizational objectives, managing cycles, objectives, and key results, recording progress across initiatives, key results, and objectives, and visualizing that information in the OKR workspace.
Building the product end to end reinforced the importance of connecting product decisions with technical decisions from the earliest stages.
From need to product
The ability to turn an ambiguous need into an experience and workflows that can be built and validated.
End-to-end ownership
End-to-end design and development across experience, frontend, backend, persistence, and authentication.
Judgment for evolution
More than 15 years of experience, including 5 in technical leadership, balancing product, architecture, quality, and execution.
